Therapeutic Program Assistant

The Therapeutic Program Volunteers and Assistants assists the Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and/or special educator in all activities of the day, including in the classroom, on the playground, or in the other special settings such as lunch, art, music, field trips, etc. EOE

Programs run for 7 weeks from June 29, 2026 - August 14, 2026. The Therapeutic Program Assistant must be able to commit to the full 7 weeks. Hours are 8:45am-3:45pm, but will consider half days of 8:45am-12:45pm or 12:15pm-3:45pm.

 

College-level work in early childhood development, special education, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, is highly desirable.

Demonstrated experience in working with young children (age two to seven years) in nursery schools, child care centers, special camps or school programs is also highly desirable.
