IT Summer Internship
National Bank of Canada is recruiting for summer IT internship positions for our Capital Markets office in New York, NY.

Our Program:
Our internship program offers dynamic hands-on experience working alongside seasoned professionals and assisting members of the team in executing their responsibilities.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues encountered by on-site and remote users and provide end-to-end technical support.
- Support database management tasks, including data entry and maintenance such as recording incidents in our Services Now ticketing system.
- Help users work more effectively with new collaboration tools, including Office 365 (Yammer, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Contribute to the documentation of IT processes and procedures.
- Assess the potential impacts of rolling out new technologies and take part in various complex. analyses to assess and identify potential issues within our ecosystem.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Applicants to this role should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Information Technology or related field, graduating at the earliest in December 2026 and must be eligible to work in the US.
Live your ambitions! In these roles, the expected qualifications are:
- Prior experience with setting up, supporting, and maintaining a wide range of hardware (laptops, printers, and all other peripherals) and software (Fiserv suite, Citrix, MS Office and other banking software).
- Knowledge of:
- Microsoft Windows 11.
- Office 365 collaboration tools.
- Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, MS Endpoint Manager (Intune) preferred.
- Excel macros/VBA and third-party trading add-ins an asset.
- Understanding of local and wide area networking protocols.
- Experience with Citrix, VMware, Cisco Phone System, is an asset.
- Knowledge/experience with Identity Access Management (IAM) is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong English skills, spoken and written. French language an asset.
- Be able to commit to the period of June – August.
This is on-site role and you must be able to commute to NYC office.
