About the Role
Ascend Middle School Humanities Teachers are dynamic, mission-driven educators who believe deeply in the power of language to unlock opportunity for students. In this role, you will cultivate a joyful, rigorous classroom culture where students develop strong reading identities, confidence as writers, and the ability to think critically and express themselves with clarity, purpose, and voice.
Ascend’s Humanities curriculum is rich, text-based, and culturally responsive, anchoring learning in high-quality novels, nonfiction texts, poetry, and thematic units that allow students to explore big ideas.
