Board Certified Behavior Analyst
We are seeking a highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Supervisor to lead behavioral therapy programs and provide expert oversight within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves supervising clinical staff, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations. The BCBA Supervisor will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care that promotes positive behavioral outcomes and enhances quality of life for clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor behavior analysts, therapists, and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients with developmental disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and documentation to track client progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and families to coordinate care and facilitate intake processes
- Provide training and ongoing professional development for staff in behavioral therapy techniques, medical terminology, and patient care protocols
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all legal standards related to medical documentation and behavioral health services
Skills
- Proven expertise in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and special education strategies
- Experience working with children, individuals with autism spectrum disorder, and those with developmental or physical disabilities
- Strong skills in data collection, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation methods
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, healthcare teams, and educational professionals
- Ability to lead a team of professionals while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care
- Demonstrated ability to analyze behavioral health data to inform treatment decisions and improve client outcomes
Job Summary:
Castillo Behavior Services is seeking a passionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide in-home ABA services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities. The BCBA will oversee client programs, supervise behavior technicians, and collaborate with families to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FAST, AFLS, ABLLS, Vineland) to identify skill deficits and behavioral needs.
- Develop individualized ABA treatment plans based on assessment data and family goals.
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and support staff.
- Monitor client progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
- Conduct regular parent training and support sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with insurance and ethical standards.
- Manage a flexible caseload based on part-time or full-time preference.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with ASD or developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-home visits.
