The Meadowbrook School brings learning to life in a nurturing, joyful, and community-centered environment. Our Extended Day Program is an important part of that experience—providing children with a safe, engaging, and supportive space after the school day ends.
We are seeking an Extended Day Assistant who enjoys working with children, brings positive energy to a team, and values relationships, creativity, and structure.

What You’ll Do
- Supervise and engage students in a safe, positive, and inclusive after-school environment
- Support students with homework, reading, and quiet work time
- Lead and participate in games, arts and crafts, and enrichment activities
- Help with arrival and dismissal procedures to ensure student safety
- Assist the Extended Day Lead Teacher with planning and daily activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program space
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with students, families, and staff
- Follow program policies, procedures, and behavior expectations
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a school, camp, childcare, or recreational setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, Recreation, or related field preferred
- Teaching certification preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond calmly in active settings
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass all required background checks and clearances
