A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SOCIAL SERVICES DIRECT CARE STAFF
This is a unique position, providing daytime, evening, weekend, and/or overnight (sleep hours are fully paid!) support to people with disabilities in El Cajon. Full-time, part-time, and flexible work schedules are available. You will make a difference for others by teaching people with intellectual and developmental disabilities new skills and empowering them to reach their goals:
- Connect people with their community, find fun things to do, and meet new people
- Planning and preparing healthy meals
- Managing medications and other health needs
- Providing personal assistance with bathing, dressing, and using the restroom
- Be a valuable resource and assist with accessing public benefits and community resources

QUALIFICATIONS
- High level of trustworthiness and integrity
- A solid work history and references that can attest to your dependability and reliability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Car in safe working order, vehicle insurance, Valid CA driver's license, and 2 years of driving experience
