We are looking for an empathetic and organized Human Resources (HR) intern to help scale our remote team. You will assist in the full-cycle recruitment across our high-impact roles, while ensuring a seamless internal experience through streamlined onboarding and offboarding procedures. 🚀 About This Role
- This is not only an HR internship.
You will act as a Product Manager for our internal people and performance platform. - Your “users” are our engineers, interns, PMs, and founders.
Your “product” is the system that powers how our team operates, performs, and scales. - You’ll design, ship, and iterate on automation, dashboards, and AI-powered workflows that improve execution velocity, accountability, and team health in a fully remote AI startup.
🛠 What You’ll Build & Own
- Internal Product Ownership
- Define requirements, user stories, and success metrics for internal people & performance systems
- Treat HR, performance, and operations as a product, not a process
- Run experiments to improve onboarding speed, engagement, and execution quality
- Performance & Execution Platform
- Own the end-to-end performance product using tools like Clockify, weekly updates, and contribution logs
- Design automated check-ins, alerts, and reporting systems that surface:
- Weekly time & activity patterns
Deliverable velocity and reliability
- Engagement and contribution trends
- Build founder dashboards that turn team data into decision signals
- Automation & AI Systems
- Ship workflows connecting Slack, GitHub, Notion, Google Workspace, Sheets, and internal tools
- Build AI-powered internal assistants for training, onboarding, and policy Q&A
- Prototype internal tools and no-code / low-code systems as MVPs
- Growth & Talent Funnel
- Design the intern-to-founding-team conversion pipeline
- Build and optimize funnels across universities, communities, and referrals
- Track conversion metrics:
candidate → intern → contributor → founding team
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- Strong product thinking & systems design mindset
- Comfortable translating people problems into product requirements
- Can work with APIs, automation tools, dashboards, or basic code
- Interested in AI, startups, product management, or operations platforms
- High ownership — you like building products from zero to v1

- Built a product, dashboard, bot, or internal tool
- Experience in PM, ops, or startup leadership roles (student orgs, labs, clubs, startups)
- Interest in AI tooling, analytics, or platform products
