Startup Fundraising Intern
Finz is a New York based fintech building an AI-powered finance platform for small businesses. We connect to core financial systems such as accounting and banking to help owners understand cash flow, improve operating discipline, and make better capital decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Support the founder in day-to-day fundraising operations.
- Build and maintain investor and lender CRM pipelines in HubSpot.
- Research VCs, family offices, and strategic investors; track fit and stage focus.
- Prepare and update investor materials: pitch deck, one-pager, and data room.
- Draft investor outreach messages and track responses.
- Conduct market and competitive research to strengthen positioning.
- Synthesize data and insights into concise reports for investor updates.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong research, writing, and analytical ability.
- Confident with Excel/Sheets and data organization.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Interest in fintech, venture capital, and startup fundraising.
- Degree or background in finance, business, or economics preferred.

This is a part-time, three-month unpaid internship based in New York City, with the option to work hybrid or fully remote. The role requires 15–20 hours per week and is unpaid, focused on mentorship and real-world learning in startup fundraising.
