Content Producer & Video Storyteller
Job Description:
Puetz Construction, LLC is looking for a Content Producer & Video Storyteller to document, create, and publish video content that actually grows the business.
This role is heavily focused on shooting and editing video, telling real stories from live projects, and building social content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook—for both the company and the owner’s personal brand.
You’ll be involved from idea to execution: filming on job sites, editing short-form and long-form video, experimenting with hooks, and learning what drives real engagement. Over time, this role could expand into broader marketing responsibilities, including paid ads and campaign / overall marketing strategy.
This is not a “post and schedule” role. It’s a hands-on opportunity to build real content, learn how businesses grow attention, and take ownership of creative output in a fast-moving company.
Expect high standards, direct feedback, and a constant push to improve quality, speed, and results. You’ll have direct access to the owner, freedom to test ideas, and real projects to document.
Content May Include:
- Short-form videos from active job sites
- Before/after transformations
- Advertising creation and production
- Behind-the-scenes of how a construction business actually runs
- Owner-led content focused on leadership, growth, and lessons learned
- Experiments with storytelling formats, hooks, and platforms
Specific Skills:
- Ability to shoot video on a phone or camera (framing, lighting, basic audio)
- Strong short-form video editing (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Sense for storytelling, pacing, and hooks
- Comfort being on job sites and capturing real work
- Understanding of social platforms and what performs
- Willingness to experiment, learn fast, and iterate
- Comfortable using AI tools to brainstorm ideas, write hooks, plan content, and speed up editing workflows
- Bonus (not required): interest in YouTube, ads, or analytics
Minimum Requirements:
- You can show examples of videos you’ve made (any niche)
- You’re reliable, communicative, and meet deadlines
- You’re comfortable taking feedback and improving quickly
- You’re willing to own projects from idea to final edit
- You’re not afraid to ask questions or try things that might fail
Expected Responsibilities:
- Film video content on job sites, in the office, and in the field
- Edit short-form and long-form video content
- Create content for business and personal brand channels
- Help shape story ideas, hooks, and themes
- Post and test content across social platforms
- Track what performs and adjust accordingly
- Use AI tools to improve speed, consistency, and creative iteration in content production
- Grow into broader marketing work over time (optional, earned)
