STEM Instructor

STEM Instructor – Coding, Robotics & Game Design (Part-Time, Paid)

Employer: iCode Pleasanton
Location: 2709 Stoneridge Drive, Suite D-11, Pleasanton, CA 94588 (In-Person)
Compensation: $20–$25/hr (based on experience)
Hours: 5–20 hrs/week | Afternoons, Evenings & Weekends
Start Date: Rolling (Hiring for 2026–2027 School Year)
Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Engineering, Education, Game Design, or related fields

 

About iCode Pleasanton

iCode Pleasanton is a STEM education center focused on empowering students through coding, robotics, game development, and emerging technologies. We work with elementary through high school students in structured, hands-on programs designed to build both technical and problem-solving skills.

We are seeking energetic, responsible, and tech-driven individuals who enjoy working with students and want to gain real-world leadership and teaching experience.

 

What You’ll Do

Lead engaging, hands-on STEM classes for elementary and middle school students

Teach coding, robotics, 3D design, app development, or game design

Support student projects using platforms like Scratch, Python, Unity, Roblox, VEX Robotics, and more

Track student progress and provide updates to parents

Create a positive, encouraging, and professional classroom environment

Collaborate with fellow instructors and leadership team

Preferred Qualifications

Strong communication and presentation skills

Professional, reliable, and positive attitude

Familiarity with Scratch, Python, Unity, Roblox, HTML/CSS/JS, or robotics platforms

Experience working with youth (tutoring, camps, mentoring, volunteering)

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Bonus:

VEX Robotics experience

GameMaker or Unity development

Prior leadership in STEM clubs or tech organizations

Former iCode student or camp counselor
