Position Overview
Fishe is looking for a Summer Intern – Outdoor Content Creator who lives for the outdoors and knows how to capture it on camera. This role is heavily focused on video creation, with additional still photography, for use in marketing campaigns, paid advertising, and social media.
You’ll travel to incredible fishing locations, outdoor events, fairs, expos, and festivals, capturing the energy, action, and lifestyle that define the Fishe brand. When not traveling, work will be based out of our Anchorage midtown headquarters.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves fishing, adventure, and creating content in real-world environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Capture high-quality outdoor video and photography, primarily in fishing environments
- Travel to rivers, lakes, coastal locations, and outdoor destinations to create content
- Shoot content at events, outdoor expos, fairs, festivals, brand activations and in-store
- Create visuals specifically for marketing and paid advertising
- Organize, label, and manage photo/video files for easy use by the marketing team
- Work independently in the field while meeting deadlines and creative direction
- Represent the Fishe brand professionally in outdoor and public settings
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest or background in fishing and the outdoor lifestyle
- Experience with videography and photography (DSLR, mirrorless, or comparable setups)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and rugged conditions
- Highly organized, punctual, and dependable
- Willing and excited to travel as needed
- Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
- Based in or able to work out of Anchorage, Alaska
