LEGO Robotics Instructor

Whizara offers student-centered, highly engaging, and interactive LEGO robotics courses for K–12 students. We are looking for enthusiastic, high-energy instructors to lead our in-person classes in San Francisco, CA.

This role is open to students, recent graduates, or professionals who are passionate about teaching and looking for a part-time opportunity to inspire kids with hands-on learning in LEGO robotics.

Whizara provides a complete curriculum for each course—so you don’t have to create lesson plans. We also provide training videos for LEGO Spike Essential, ensuring you are fully prepared before stepping into the classroom.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Be punctual, reliable, organized, and efficient to run effective classes.
  • Follow curriculum, set student goals, motivate and guide students to ensure an enjoyable and productive learning experience.
  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback and support as needed to help students meet course objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to achieve course goals.
  • Provide feedback from classroom experience to improve curriculum, instructional methods, and teaching strategies.
  • Work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Communicate with the Whizara team via email and phone as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Student, recent graduate, or professional with a strong interest in STEM and LEGO robotics.
  • Experience with LEGO robotics (SPIKE Essential, SPIKE Prime, Mindstorms, or similar) or related platforms (Raspberry Pi/Arduino) preferred.
  • Previous teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable with technology and using computers.
  • Must enjoy teaching and working with kids across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels.
  • Ability to manage a classroom environment independently or alongside teachers.
