Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will generate and qualify new business opportunities to support Novatech’s sales organization. This role combines outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and research while providing visibility, coaching, and a clear path for career growth. The BDR sets high-quality meetings for Account Executives and helps drive pipeline expansion.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels
  • Qualify inbound leads based on business needs, priorities, and timing
  • Research prospective customers to understand their technology environment and challenges
  • Schedule discovery meetings and solution discussions for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing on campaigns and outreach initiatives
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity, meeting, and pipeline generation goals
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Novatech solutions and value propositions

 

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and emails
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Coachable mindset with a desire to learn and grow in sales
