Marketing Intern
Bonnie Plants is the leading brand in live vegetable and herb plants. Bonnie has a unique operating model in the industry – with 82 growing stations and 10 offloading stations spread across 40+ states in the US. In addition, there are 700+ trucks with route sales representatives that deliver plants to 20,000+ retail locations across the US. There are about 300 varieties of plants produced in multiple sizes across the network. And the primary selling season is approximately 3-4 months in most of the US.
With rapid expansion and growth – the company has been focused primarily investing in capacity to supply plants. Bonnie Plants is investing heavily in analytics as the business evolves (changing retailer requirements, pushing into ecommerce, increased competition, changing regulations, increased cost pressures, a need to diversify customer and product mix, etc.) and there is a need to have better intelligence into the business to make both existing and future operations more efficient.
Responsibilities:
Internal Communications
● Write articles to be featured on The Vine of internal activities
● R&D Grow Guide on The Vine
● Implement “In Store Executive” tab on The Vine
In Store Signage / Merchandising
● Support in store signage requests and merchandising SOPs
● Lead implementation of POP Order Site
● Implement POP request form
● Photoshoot project management and preparation
Consumer Insights
● Analyze consumer insights through macro channels and other avenues
● Run Suzy surveys as needed
● Compile findings into a recurring Consumer Insights Digest for Bonnie leadership
Marketing Team Support
● Engage in weekly 1:1s with manager
● Present in weekly marketing meetings about key projects and relevant team updates
● Partnership / Vendor Support (Auburn, HHG, Lee Apparel, Wondersauce)
● 2026 Execution, 2027 Planning
