Resource Development Coordinator
As Resource Development Coordinator, your core responsibilities will be to assist the Vice President of Development and Communications to strengthen and support Empowering Abilities by focusing on marketing & communications, development operations support, and grant writing.
Schedule: 7:30am-4pm Monday-Friday. Required flexibility for occasional events and meetings outside of regularly scheduled hours.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
- Maintains a content calendar aligned with campaigns, events, grants, and priorities and creates and manages content for newsletters (internal and external), email, social media, website, annual reports, and donor communications.
- Assists with design and production of marketing materials, sponsorship packets, appeals, event promotions, and stewardship pieces, ensuring consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual standards.
- Maintains accurate donor and grant records in the CRM, supporting gift entry, acknowledgments, pledge tracking, and stewardship systems.
- Researches foundation, corporate, and public grant opportunities, assists in preparing and submitting grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting materials.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Experience in fundraising, marketing & public relations, or similar duties required.
- Possess current and valid driver's license and auto insurance, and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to meet employment requirements (i.e. health screening, Driving Record, TB test).
