Behavior Technician

A Behavior Technician works directly with individuals, typically children with developmental or behavioral needs, to implement behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Behavior Technician provides one-on-one support in home, school, or center-based settings, using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to teach communication, social, daily living, and academic skills while reducing challenging behaviors. 

Responsibilities include:

  •  collecting accurate data,
  •  following treatment protocols, 
  • collaborating with supervisors and caregivers,
  •  maintaining a positive, supportive, and professional environment. 

Requirements include:

  • high school diploma
  • ability to pass a background check
  • availability after 3 pm and possible weekend

*training provided

 

The role requires patience, consistency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to helping clients reach their individual goals.
