Superintendent of Schools

Sublette County School District #9, Big Piney, Wyoming, is accepting applications for a superintendent of schools. The successful candidate should demonstrate successful teaching, management, administrative and instructional leadership skills and possess high moral character to inspire and lead a school district that expects and supports a comprehensive educational program for its students. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience at an amount not less than $125,000. Compensation will include a comprehensive benefits package which does include executive housing.

Sublette County School District #9 covers much of southwestern Sublette County and a portion of northeastern Lincoln County, including the communities of Big Piney, Marbleton, and La Barge. The district serves approximately 400 students in four schools including a comprehensive high school, a middle school, and two elementary schools. Sublette 9 offers a comprehensive educational program for students in grades kindergarten through 12. The mission of Sublette 9 is to ensure high levels of learning for ALL while demonstrating our district values. The district is fully accredited by the Wyoming State Board of Education.
