Sales Enablement Intern

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn all aspects of the sales cycle, with a focus on sponsorship sales strategies and techniques
  • Work closely with the sales leadership team, including shadowing the Vice President of Sales, Account Executives, and Operations team during sales calls and client meetings
  • Gain hands-on experience with both phone-based outreach and face-to-face client meetings
  • Receive training across the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and outreach to closing, service delivery, and account management
  • Shadow the sales team during program meetings and pre-event brainstorming sessions
  • Participate in a mix of classroom-style training and interactive, hands-on learning
  • This is a part-time internship, up to 20 hours per week
  • Millennium Alliance will work with the intern’s university to help ensure academic credit, where applicable
  • This is a paid internship at $17/hour, for up to 20 hours per week

Skills and Specifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Persuasive, with an interest in sales, negotiation, and relationship-building
  • Comfortable working with numbers and tracking performance metrics
  • Highly motivated, hardworking, and willing to support grassroots sales efforts as needed
