Summer 2026 Internship

Cold Hollow Sculpture Park provides a unique opportunity for individuals to be involved in the management of a public sculpture/art park, and the execution of engaging contemporary public arts programming. The internship is designed to offer in-depth training and first-hand experience to those interested in pursuing a role in the fields of outdoor arts venue management, public arts programming, exhibition production, artist residencies, or arts administration. The position is ideal for a current or recent college graduate arts administration student, or a BA/BFA or MA/MFA level student with interests in civic engagement, nonprofit arts organizations, contemporary sculpture, visual art, performance, and the creative process, research, and experimentation.

The intern will work closely alongside the Executive Director and be involved in the day-today running of the Park – all areas including fundraising, marketing & communications, public programming, including our artist-in-residence program, operations management, and visitors services. The Park season runs June 6 through October 12. The intern is expected to be onsite during most Park hours – Thursdays – Sundays 11am – 5pm.

Internship start and end dates are flexible but can begin as early as May to help with pre-park opening production.  This is a paid internship.  The intern will receive a monthly fee.
