About AVO
AVO is a real-time platform that helps people find and act on mathematically-profitable opportunities across legal sportsbooks—without needing to be a “sports expert.” Think of it like a fast, modern dashboard that surfaces opportunities, helps users stay organized, and tracks everything in one place.
We’re a small team moving quickly, building product and content at the same time. This internship is for someone who wants reps, responsibility, and a portfolio they can actually show.
What you’ll do
You’ll help us consistently ship high-quality content across platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, X, YouTube Shorts, and Discord—depending on what you’re best at). You will help us grow our social media following on applicable platforms.
Core responsibilities
Turn our product, livestreams, and user wins into short-form content
Clip and package moments from streams into 15–60 second videos (hook → value → CTA)
Draft post copy that sounds human (not corporate) and fits each platform
Maintain a simple posting calendar and keep us consistent
Engage with comments/DMs using guidelines
Track basic performance: views, watch time, saves, clicks, follower growth, top hooks
Bring ideas weekly: trends, formats, creator references, and new angles
Optional (if you’re strong here)
Light design work (Canva/CapCut templates, thumbnails, simple motion)
Community support: helping keep Discord organized and welcoming
On-camera content (only if you want to)
You’re a fit if you…
Are plugged into short-form content and understand what keeps attention
Can edit clean, fast, and consistently (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
Can write captions/hooks that sound natural and curiosity-driven
Are organized and can hit posting targets without being chased
Like startups and don’t need everything spelled out (autonomy)
Can learn a product and translate it into content without using jargon
Bonus points
You’ve run a niche page, meme page, sports page, finance page, or creator account
You’ve made content around tools/apps, money, analytics, or “how-to” education
You understand what “arbitrage” or “EV” means (not required—we can teach it)
What success looks like (first 30 days)
You publish consistently (we’ll set a realistic cadence together)
You build 3–5 repeatable content formats we can scale
You can take a stream, pull 5–10 clips, and package them quickly
You start identifying what hooks and topics actually perform for us
Tools we use
Google Drive / Notion (planning + content pipeline)
CapCut / Premiere / Final Cut (editing)
Canva (simple templates)
Platform-native analytics (and basic tracking in a sheet)
OpusClips
We will provide any additional software tooling needed to do your work effectively
Note
This role is about consistency and taste. You’ll get real ownership, fast feedback, and the chance to help shape AVO’s voice from the ground up. We put a lot of emphasis on being a close-knit team that cares for our employees.
