Brighton Tru‑Edge manufactures tank heads and provides value‑added services for customers who count on fast, accurate quotes and responsive support. As an Inside Sales & Estimating Representative, you’ll be the primary point of contact for your account base—owning the quote-to-order process, coordinating with the shop office, and building trusted relationships that grow revenue.
What you’ll do:
- Own the estimate & quote process: Prepare timely, accurate quotations for Brighton products and services; meet daily/weekly quote volume targets.
- Convert quotes to orders: Enter and manage sales orders in the ERP; coordinate requirements and timing with shop office personnel.
- Grow relationships & revenue: Develop and maintain strong ties with existing and prospective accounts; conduct weekly follow‑ups and provide feedback to the management team.
- Drive results: Meet sales and profit goals across your assigned account base.
- Expand accounts strategically: Build and execute account growth plans; proactively drive inside sales of Brighton tank heads and value‑added capabilities.
- Champion the customer: Resolve customer service issues quickly and thoroughly; ensure a smooth, professional experience end‑to‑end.
What you’ll bring:
- Technical reading: Ability to learn to read/interpret customer specifications and technical drawings.
- Sales drive: Proven ability to proactively develop opportunities from an inside sales seat.
- Customer mindset: Relationship builder with superior service orientation.
- Organization & ownership: Strong multitasking, prioritization, and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; confident, clear, and professional.
- Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ERP order entry experience a plus.
- Preferred background: Bachelor’s degree; construction and/or manufacturing experience; prior estimating experience.
Work environment & travel:
- Primarily office-based with prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
- Ability to travel to visit key customers one week per quarter.
