Research Apprentice - Spring 2026 - Work Study or Regular Pay
The URiCA Apprenticeship Program provides eligible students with an hourly-paid research opportunity (work-study may apply) to assist faculty/staff mentors with their research projects for up to 125 hours in one academic year. This program is designed to expose students to research through a mentored apprenticeship in the first or second year of their academic degree.
If you have fewer than 72 credits (must have freshman or sophomore status) or are a newly transferred student to campus, you qualify! The program is designed as an introduction to research — to help you determine whether research is a passion of yours. You might spend time interviewing people, analyzing data, creating art, working in a lab, brainstorming with faculty and peers, creating a program or game, building a prototype, or reviewing literature in your field... and the list goes on.
Please fill out the survey found here to indicate your interest in the URiCA Program.
