Registered Behavior Technician
Job Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our growing team! In this role, you will work directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support their growth and development. Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®), ensuring adherence to the BACB guidelines and Arkansas state regulations.
- Provide direct, one-on-one therapy using ABA techniques, ensuring that all practices are in line with ethical guidelines outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®) and Arkansas regulations on therapeutic practices.
- Collect data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with the BCBA® to develop and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Monitor and document client progress, including behavioral changes and skill acquisition.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality laws, including HIPAA, to protect the privacy of all clients.
- Adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB® and Arkansas state laws, including reporting requirements for any instances of abuse or neglect.

Skills:
- Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with ABA techniques and a willingness to undergo ongoing training to stay updated on ethical standards set by the BACB®.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work within a collaborative team setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of and adherence to the BACB® Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.
- Candidates must have or be willing to pursue certification as a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) within six months of employment, if applicable.
- Ability to consistently follow ethical guidelines as outlined by the BACB®, including but not limited to maintaining client confidentiality, avoiding dual relationships, and providing services solely in the best interests of clients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have or be willing to pursue certification as an RBT® within six months of employment.
- Must be comfortable working with children and able to implement ABA therapy consistently.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
As a Behavior Technician or RBT®, you may be required to perform additional duties as needed, which may include but are not limited to support with administrative tasks, other therapy-related responsibilities, and any duties consistent with the nature of the position and clinic needs.
