Social Media & PR Internship
CFHK is seeking Social Media and Public Relations interns to join our social media team. Since our inception, our PR and Social Media interns have played a vital role in what we do, and created amazing, impactful results while also gaining valuable career experience that aided both personal and professional development. With over a decade leading and mentoring our interns from universities across the country, CFHK is excited to process your application!! You'll be joining our diverse and talented team of interns from across the US.
Social media and media outreach play a vital role in our efforts and impact. It is the primary way people learn about CFHK. As such, you have the unique opportunity to contribute to a national platform.
As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to exercise and strengthen your design, content creation and strategy skils while learning new ones.
Our social media and PR interns assist with tasks related to various types of content creation including: various types of Instagram or Facebook posts (collages, informational, event related and more), reels and videos, Stories, and more. Interns also sometimes assist with tasks such as media outreach, updating designs on the CFHK websit, designing outreach files via Canva and more.
As an intern, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas and help execute important content campaigns such as Giving Tuesday, holiday campaigns and more.
This is a remote internship, and the intern will coordinate via email and phone.
CFHK is looking for interns who are professional, reliable and excited to contribute to our mission. Ideal candidates should have prior experience with Canva / social media content design and be open to strengthening their skills.
Our interns gain valuable experience, professional development and skills. Prior CFHK interns have gone on to work in media, public affairs and PR, as well as a variety of other areas such as hospital communication departments, and more.
Flexibility: While purposeful, this internship is extremely manageable. Interns work on weekly tasks at their own schedule rather than during set hours. Many of our interns manage this in addition to a campus job and/or second internship. There is also the option to continue for a second semester or longer so long as the intern is performing well.
