The Role
We're hiring 3-4 creative, social media-savvy college students to produce short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts style). You'll create engaging UGC-style videos showcasing our app and products, post them to our social channels, and help us figure out what resonates with EV drivers.
This is a great fit if you're interested in marketing, content creation, or the EV/cleantech space—and want real experience running social content at a growing startup.
What You'll Do
- Create 12 short-form videos per week using Icon (our video creation tool—we'll train you)
- Write hooks and scripts that grab attention in the first 3 seconds
- Experiment with different video styles—you don't have to film your own content, but it's encouraged to try everything (UGC-style, voiceover, on-camera, trending formats) and see what performs
- Post content to social platforms via Hootsuite
- Track what's working and bring ideas to biweekly team check-ins
- Collaborate with other interns to test different creative approaches
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled college student (any major welcome)
- You spend time on TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts and understand what makes content perform
- Comfortable being scrappy and learning new tools quickly
- Reliable and able to hit weekly deadlines independently
- Interest in EVs, sustainability, or tech is a plus but not required
- No professional video editing experience needed—we'll teach you our tools
Compensation & Details
- $500/month for 48 videos (12 per week)
- Fully remote, flexible hours—work when it fits your schedule
- Monthly bonus for top-performing content creators
- Real portfolio pieces and startup marketing experience
Time Commitment
Approximately 3-4 hours per week. You'll manage your own schedule as long as videos are delivered on time.
