Summer PR Intern
Looking for a real-world PR summer internship that helps build your skills and your resume? Bader Rutter is offering a hands-on PR internship in our Milwaukee office.
We are seeking a great communicator who is eager to learn. You are passionate about B2B and even B2C public relations and dream of major earned media hits. As our next PR Intern, you will explore multiple facets of public relations work. You’ll work as a cross-discipline content developer, perfecting your skills for a variety of channels, audiences and brands. You’re not too big to do the small stuff, but you’re prepared when the big assignment comes your way.
We’re looking for an intern who has taken journalism classes and knows AP Style. You’re a great communicator and you’re eager to build your skills. You’re ready to explore your passions and experience multiple facets of public relations work. You can write and ask great questions, and people like having you as a co-worker. You deliver excellent work on time and love learning new industries and processes. That’s why we want you as our newest public relations intern.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Full-time student or recent grad with a major or minor in strategic communications (journalism, public relations, advertising, journalism)
- Junior, senior or recent grad status with previous internship experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Internship Details:
- Internship runs 6/2/26 through mid-August
- Hourly rate is $18 for current students and $20 for post-grads
- Intern should be in greater Milwaukee for the summer and plan to be in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
