Staffing Strategist / Technical Recruiter (In-house)
Dewpoint, an IT consulting company based in Lansing, Michigan, is seeking an experienced Staffing Strategist / Technical Recruiter to join our growing team. This role serves as the primary in-house recruiting resource, working closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs, attract top talent, and deliver a high-touch, data-driven hiring experience.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values strong relationships, and takes pride in creating exceptional experiences for candidates and hiring managers alike. This is an internal role focused on hiring for Dewpoint and our client teams—not a traditional staffing or agency recruiting position. The primary emphasis will be sourcing, screening, and candidate management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with managers to understand workforce needs and deliver timely, high-quality hiring solutions.
- Design and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent across a variety of roles and job families.
- Create, post, and manage engaging job advertisements and recruiting content across platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, and social media channels.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, from sourcing and screening through interviewing and offer.
- Coordinate and manage internal and client-facing interviews, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate and requisition records within recruiting systems.
- Represent Dewpoint at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives to strengthen our employer brand.
- Provide clear, timely communication to candidates and clients throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare customized recruiting reports and status updates for Dewpoint leadership and clients as requested.
- Facilitate employee onboarding, including preparation and completion of all required onboarding documentation.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates across multiple job categories.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics (e.g., time to fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness) to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
- Ensure recruiting and onboarding practices align with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Coordinate and lead Dewpoint hiring fairs to support ongoing talent acquisition efforts.
- Plan and execute Dewpoint employee-focused events and support client-facing events as needed.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

- Company-paid benefits, including short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and AD&D, with optional supplemental life insurance for employees, spouses, and dependents.
- Generous time off, including PTO on a graduated scale up to five weeks at five years of employment, nine paid holidays, and four weeks of paid parental leave.
- Additional benefits, including annual volunteer hours and charitable donation dollars, tuition reimbursement, and cell phone reimbursement.
- Compensation & flexibility, including base pay plus commission, a hybrid work schedule (three days in office), and a strong commitment to work-life balance.
Qualifications / Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in an in-house, corporate, or consulting environment.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple roles and job categories.
- Proven ability to partner with hiring managers and business leaders in a consultative, advisory capacity.
- Strong sourcing skills and experience using LinkedIn, job boards, and social media to build candidate pipelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Experience coordinating interviews and managing multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
