Office Services Assistant
JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock is looking to hire an Office Services Assistant in its Denver, CO office. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Office Service Center and provides the opportunity to acquire new skills and gain understanding of legal services support within a law firm. Ideal candidates are committed to providing a high-quality work product, with a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in both independently and within team environment to accomplish daily tasks.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) in-office position with working hours 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Route internal office materials
- Operate postage and expedit mail equipment
- Distribute office supplies including printer paper
- Ensure copiers are working properly including clearing paper jams and informing supervisor of
specific problems - Use paper cutter, hole driller, bindery equipment (tape and coil/spiral machine)
- Handle materials received from FedEx, UPS, and USPS
- Prepare and organize materials for daily FedEx pickup for overnight and ground shipping
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs including, but not limited to, Outlook, Word, and Excel and PDF editing software
- General knowledge of standard office equipment including mail sorting machinery, multi-functional printers, scanners, and velobind binding and comb binding equipment
- Familiarity with internal and external office moves, preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with attorneys, staff members, and outside personnel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Punctuality and dependability
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Flexibility to work overtime
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience
- High School (or equivalent) required
- Experience working with professional environment preferred, not required
Position Information
Status: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $42,000-$50,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.

- Ability to ascend/descend stairs
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry or otherwise move objects weighing 50 pounds or more
