The C&R Analyst provides assistance and advice to staff of the California Correctional Training & Rehabilitation Authority (CALCTRA) in Central Office and institution operations pertaining to classification, pay, certification, and other personnel-related issues ensuring a fair, equitable, merit-based hiring process is followed.

  • Experience performing completed staff work, or audit work
  • Hiring and Recruitment Experience
  • Experience analyzing data and presenting ideas and information effectively, both orally and in writing
  • ECOS, Salesforce, or SCO Experience
  • Experience providing guidance and consultative services to management or customers
  • Experience researching and applying or explaining personnel laws, rules, regulations, or policy
  • Experience Evaluating MQ’s, reviewing duty statements and or Org Charts, to help determine proper allocations, completing salary determinations, eligibility type determinations
