General Office Clerk

Susman Godfrey has an opening for an onsite General Office Clerk in its downtown Seattle office. The General Office Clerk is generally responsible for client service and internal support, handling the mail, deliveries, errands, document services, maintaining the appearance of the conference rooms, kitchen and office and assisting with moves and special projects.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver exceptional, hospitality-level service, have an enthusiastic and energetic team attitude, able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs, and able to work extended hours when necessary. 

Additional duties include:

  • Handle photocopies, scan and print jobs and deliver finished project according to schedule
  • Process all courier shipments, incoming and outgoing (FedEx, UPS etc.)
  • Run errands as directed by Manager
  • Provide upmost in quality work due to the sensitive nature of documents and projects that are required in a legal environment
  • Assist with troubleshooting problems with copiers including changing toners
  • Pick up lunches/dinners as directed
  • Greet visitors, answer telephone, screen and direct calls, reserve conference rooms. 
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Perform quality accurate jobs/projects that may require tight deadlines, often of a confidential nature, and potentially under high pressure

Essential Knowledge. Skills and Abilities:

  • 1-2 years office experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail and good organizational and analytical skills

Salary:  $55,000-$60,000/yr, DOE.
