Human Resources Generalist

Human Resources Generalist – Operations & Growth

Wendover Art Group | Manufacturing & Operations Environment

Why This Role Is Different

This is not a traditional, observational HR role. At Wendover Art Group, HR is embedded in the business, on the floor, in the work, and accountable for real outcomes. From day one, you will have ownership across operations, people development, compliance, and growth initiatives that directly impact performance and culture.

If you are looking for a role where HR concepts become lived practice and where your work shows up in metrics, safety, quality, and careers, this role is designed for you.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain a regular presence on the production floor, partnering with operations leaders on staffing, attendance, coverage, and safety
  • Design and deliver training tied to real work in safety, lean, quality, and 1W culture
  • Support full-cycle recruiting including interviewing, selection, onboarding, and bench building
  • Track training participation, effectiveness, and capability metrics to drive improvement
  • Assist with compliance activities including policy deployment, documentation, audits, and risk mitigation
  • Support people, policy, and culture integration during acquisitions using strong emotional intelligence

Why This Role Is Different

  • Real responsibility from day one — ownership, not observation
  • Equal focus on Front Office and Production teams
  • HR work is operational, hands-on, and tied to measurable outcomes
  • Merit-based environment where skills, contribution, and initiative drive opportunity and growth

How Development Works at Wendover

  • Development extends beyond leadership roles — everyone grows
  • Cross-training is part of our culture and how we build bench strength
  • Training is designed around real skills that improve how work gets done
  • Early exposure to manufacturing, operations, and business fundamentals

Who Thrives Here

  • Early-career HR professionals who want to learn by doing
  • Curious, accountable problem-solvers comfortable in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communicators with a practical, people-first mindset

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Operations, or related field
  • 0–3 years of experience, internships, or co-op experience
  • Interest in manufacturing, operations, and people development
  • Willingness to spend time on the production floor and close to the work

Why Wendover Art Group

  • Real responsibility from day one
  • Exposure to operations, leadership, and growth initiatives early in your career
  • Opportunity to develop skills that accelerate long-term HR growth
  • A culture that rewards contribution, learning, and accountability
