Room Attendant
Position Overview
Room Attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the ranch. They ensure guest rooms, public spaces, outdoor areas, and lakefront facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming. Room Attendants interact regularly with guests, respond to requests in a friendly and timely manner, assist with lakefront activities, and help support retail and concessions operations. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, efficiency, and a positive attitude.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of guest rooms, lodges, public spaces, and outdoor areas
- Support lakefront activities by welcoming guests, explaining safety rules, monitoring activity, and maintaining equipment
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
- Assist with laundry and general upkeep as needed
- Provide support to Ranch Attendants in shops and activities
- Work efficiently as part of a team while also being able to work independently
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and ranch procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to lift 40 pounds or more
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Must maintain a positive and professional attitude
