Process/Quality Engineer

Leading manufacturer of plastic bottles and closures for the Rx, OTC and vitamins/supplements industry is seeking a Process/Quality Engineer with basic knowledge of polymers, plastic molding processes, plastic molds and tooling, metrology instrumentation, and quality systems such as ISO and GMP.

The Process/Quality Engineer will:

*Acquire a working knowledge of the bottle and closure manufacturing processes.

*Monitor the Company's manufacturing and quality KPIs viz throughput/efficiencies, quality rejects/scrap, cost of manufacture, on-time delivery, etc.

*Suggest and implement improvements to the manufacturing process and ISO/GMP quality systems, in cooperation with Production and Sales.

*Utilize knowledge of basic Engineering principles including fluid mechanics, heat transfer and mechanical processes.

*Possess strong mathematical, analytical and interpersonal skills.
