Construction Quality Assurance Technician
Cardinal Engineering Corporation is a Civil and Environmental Consulting Engineering and Surveying firm founded in 1968. We began by serving the Greater Cincinnati area and now perform work in several states, primarily in the Midwest. We serve educational, health, industrial, commercial, residential, solid waste, and government clients by planning and supporting many types of construction projects.
We are currently seeking a Construction Quality Assurance Technician to join our team of engineers and technicians. This person will primarily be located in the field, and will be the on-site eyes and ears for Cardinal's civil/environmental engineers that are not able to be on site full-time to oversee critical construction activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Consistent communication with the owner and contractors to facilitate compliant construction practices;
- Consistent on-site presence to oversee construction activities;
- Collection of samples for lab testing;
- Field testing construction materials (soils, concrete, pipework, liner systems, etc.);
- and Preparation of daily inspection and observation reports.
