Our client company supplies critical battery materials to major North American EV and energy storage customers and operates a high-volume manufacturing facility in Georgia.

2. Position Overview

 

Electrical & Automation Systems

  • Operate and program MITSUBISHI PLCs; troubleshoot and maintain control logic
  • Develop and update graphic interfaces on CYMON HMI.
  • Perform electrical wiring work, install conduit, motor starters, VFDs, and sensors, and read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues; maintain documentation and adherence to safety codes.

Utility Systems & Mechanical Piping

  • Operate and perform routine maintenance on steam and oil boilers, ensuring safe and efficient operation
  • Assemble, install, and maintain various pumps and piping systems, reading and interpreting P&ID drawings, and verifying field alignment
  • Execute TIG and ARC welding for fabrication and repair tasks.
  • Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions on mechanical and utility systems

Safety & Continuous Improvement

  • Promote a proactive approach to hazard identification and safety compliance.
  • Provide technical recommendations and improvements to maintenance systems and workflows.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in our CMMS or similar system


 

3. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment
  • Operate and support Mitsubishi PLC systems, HMI programs, and touch panels
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&ID drawings
  • Use AutoCAD to review, update, and support electrical drawings
  • Conduct on-site work at heights in compliance with safety regulations
  • Prepare maintenance, inspection, and incident reports
  • Support preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime
  • Participate in technical interviews and audits as required
  • Complete structured knowledge transfer during the initial 3-month handover period


 

4. Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with PLCs (MITSUBISHI preferred), HMI, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Proven experience with boilers, pumps, mechanical piping, and welding (TIG/ARC).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, diligent, and takes initiative to act without direction.


 

5. Preferred Qualifications


 

• Electrical trade certification, technical school, or electrical engineering background

• Manufacturing, chemical, battery, or heavy industrial plant experience

• Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings

• Experience working in continuous production environments
