Marketing And Development Coordinator

The Marketing and Development Coordinator will be a results–oriented member of Eluna’s Advancement team, responsible for supporting the execution of marketing and fundraising strategies to increase brand recognition and engagement with our donors, volunteers, partners, and wider community. This role is an ideal entry into both Marketing and Development and is expected to serve as a foundation for those interested in a career in marketing, nonprofit fundraising, and/or relationship management. The Marketing and Development Coordinator will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and work closely with the Director of Corporate Partnerships and the Annual Giving Manager.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Create, coordinate, and disseminate engaging digital content including but not limited to website, social media platforms, blogs, email communications, and event content, in conjunction with the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager with the development and implementation of marketing and fundraising campaigns to key target audiences.
  • Support Eluna’s annual fundraiser Champions for Children and additional special events through print and digital communication assets, management of silent and live auction solicitation, sponsor coordination, on-site support, and other duties as assigned.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of email communications including calendars, project management, scheduling, list management, audience segmentation, and database hygiene.
  • Be solely responsible for managing Eluna’s social media accounts. Including but not limited to: content creation, monitoring analytics, reporting, and responding to engagement.
  • Be solely responsible for Eluna’s social media and email data tracking and reporting at least on a quarterly basis and year end reporting.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in communicating and enforcing brand consistency and maintaining a fresh and relevant brand voice by updating email signatures, refreshing website content, and related tasks as needed.
  • Represent Eluna at community and corporate engagement initiatives, including Lunch & Learns, volunteer activities, tabling events, and other special events.
  • Oversee marketing and communications subscriptions (Mailchimp, Monday.com, Dropbox, Flickr, etc.) in conjunction with Eluna’s Director of Operations and 2-factor authentication logins and recommend improvement to processes and platforms.
  • Contribute to and maintain the Marketing and Communication Guidelines for network partners and provide brand and logo updates for network partners as needed. 
  • Collaborate with Eluna team members on projects and initiatives as needed.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Work experience with progressive responsibility will be considered in lieu of post-high school education. 
  • 1-2 years managing a professional social media account as an individual or for an organization; volunteer capacity included.
  • Proficiency with digital platforms such as Microsoft 365 suite of tools, email marketing software such as Mailchimp, Hootsuite, WordPress, project management software such as Monday.com and/or CRM such as Salesforce a plus.
  • Capability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet or exceed deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • Confidentiality, honesty, and discretion required.
  • Commitment to Eluna’s mission.
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends, as needed for events and deadlines.
  • Experience working for or with a non-profit preferred but not required.

 

Salary and Benefits

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; salary range is expected to be in the $45k-$50k range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, flexible spending plan, and generous paid time off.
