Position Summary

Skyblue Systems LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role provides hands-on exposure to high-tech manufacturing environments and offers strong opportunities for technical growth and long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and apply equipment maintenance manuals, procedures, schematics, and wiring diagrams to perform field service and technical support.

Conduct on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive service of semiconductor manufacturing equipment using professional knowledge of electronics, test instruments, and tools.

Analyze customer feedback and service requests to proactively deliver high-quality field services and maximize customer satisfaction.

Review operational and equipment performance data to identify issues, improve efficiency, and optimize system performance.

Provide technical training and guidance to customer engineering and technical staff on proper equipment operation and maintenance.

Prepare service reports, performance summaries, and progress status updates.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg) and work in an industrial environment, including climbing stairs.

Overtime and/or weekend work may be required depending on project and site needs.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), or

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar field service or technical support role.

Prior experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal engineering teams.

Korean language proficiency is a plus, but not required.

Willingness to travel or relocate temporarily based on project assignments.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
