2026 Undergraduate Summer Intern – Job Posting

 

Department Title: Undergrad Intern – Product Strategy & Development

Start Date: All interns must start in office and in person on May 4, 2026.

Anticipated End Date: August 14, 2026 – All interns must be in office and in person on their last day to return equipment. Interns must be located in the same location throughout the duration of their internship and are prohibited from returning laptop/equipment to a different office location or shipping their equipment back.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic undergraduate student for a Summer Internship position with our Product Strategy & Development team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This internship position is designed for undergraduate students who have an interest in investing. The internship will last approximately 12 weeks.

An intern in this department can expect to learn:

  • Researching skills
  • How to conduct and present research
  • What goes into making a strong product
  • What are the different types of investment vehicles
  • What are the different considerations that go into road-mapping and executing product events (fund launches, mergers, closures)

 

Key Responsibilities Can Include:

 

This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about Product Strategy from an industry leader. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain, structure, and assemble databases across multiple dimensions at various granularities (e.g., demographics, customers, products, transactions).
  • Collect and clean data from numerous and diverse internal and external systems and sources enabling market, regulatory, industry, competitor, and investment trends to be identified
  • Design, develop, and implement innovative reports/dashboards using Excel, Access, Tableau or similar applications.
  • Document and maintain operational procedures and processes relating to analytical and reporting processes.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the rest of the team.

 

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Rising undergraduate student in his/her second or third year of university
  • Proficient computer skills and highly proficient at MS Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn and a desire to be a team player
  • Ability to work Independently
  • Flexibility and willingness to perform various ad-hoc assignments
  • Interest in, and understanding of, data management, data analysis, and concepts including data modeling and transformations

This is a full-time internship where students will work approximately 35 (dependent on state/location) hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $24 (dependent on location and function) CAD per hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
