About the Role
We’re looking for a high-taste, internet-native Social Media Marketing Intern who can help us grow awareness and community across X, Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit. You’ll turn product moments (features, demos, creator results, “wow” outputs) into content that people actually want to watch, share, and talk about.
You are a great fit if you’re curious about cutting-edge AI tools, love creative tech, and want a future career in marketing or AI.
What You’ll Do
- Create short-form content (TikTok/Reels/Shorts): scripts, hooks, shot lists, edits, captions, and posting cadence
- Write high-performing copy for X threads/posts, IG captions, Reddit posts/comments, and creator outreach
- Translate concepts into simple, scroll-stopping stories (demos, before/after, mini tutorials, “how it’s made”)
- Track performance and iterate fast: views, watch time, CTR, saves, shares, comments, and follower growth
- Engage communities authentically: respond, comment, DM creators, participate in relevant subreddits, and build relationships
- Help maintain a lightweight content system: content calendar, post templates, repurposing workflow
Requirements (Qualities + Skills We’re Looking For)
You’ll likely do well here if you have:
- Platform fluency: you understand what works on X vs. TikTok vs. IG vs. Reddit (and why)
- Video creation experience: you can shoot/screen-record, edit, add captions, cut fast, and keep pacing tight
- Copywriting chops: strong hooks, clear CTAs, concise storytelling, meme literacy without being cringe
- Taste + creative instinct: good judgment on what looks/feels “premium” and what’s actually shareable
- Consistency + speed: can ship content quickly, learn from performance, and improve weekly
- Strong communication: you can take feedback well and collaborate with product/engineering to capture the right moments
- Tools: pick your stack (and of course play with the latest AI solution)
Nice to Have (Big Plus)
- You actively manage a personal social account (or creator account), or you’ve posted content consistently yourself
- You’ve grown an account, run experiments, or built community in a niche
- Interest in AI creative products, art, video, 3D, gaming, design tools, or creator economy
- Comfort turning raw product footage into multiple formats (tutorial, meme, “POV,” comparison, case study)
