IT Project Manager

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking IT Project Manager (Cybersecurity SME) to join our team! This position will lead high-impact cybersecurity initiatives supporting Army digital modernization, Zero Trust implementation, cloud security, enterprise defensive cyber operations, and cyber mission support for the Armaments Center This position is located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

 

 

What will you be doing?

 

This position will be a key member of the CIO/G-6 team. Duties include:

 

  • Provide cybersecurity analysis and project management support to the Armaments Center Cyber Mission.
  • Manage and coordinate IT/Cyber-related requests and issues across mission stakeholders.
  • Manage sustainment processes for maintenance and updates to the Knowledge Place environment.
  • Serve as the Cyber Coordinator, facilitating communication with Information Management Officers (IMO), Systems Administrators, and System Technicians.
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of major cybersecurity modernization initiatives.
  • Develop project plans, milestones, risk management strategies, and implementation frameworks.
  • Interpret and implement DoD, Army, and CIO/G‑6 cybersecurity policies and governance requirements.
  • Prepare high-level briefings, decision papers, white papers, and risk assessments for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity initiatives with Army commands, PEOs, and DoD agencies.

 

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

 

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

 

  • Five years of specialized experience at in cybersecurity-focused IT project management supporting US Army programs. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cybersecurity and IT modernization projects.
  • Experience coordinating cybersecurity efforts across technical and operational teams.
  • Strong communication skills for senior leader engagement.
  • Minimum of Bachelors degree.
  • Secret security clearance will be required.
