Developer Intern

Job Description

LvlUp Ventures is seeking a developer to help build and maintain internal systems that support our venture operations, startup programs, partnerships, community workflows, and event execution.

This role will focus heavily on Airtable database management and Zapier automations, with additional work on workflow logic, integrations, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of systems without heavy oversight.

 

Expected Responsibilities

Build and maintain Airtable bases, including tables, views, forms, formulas, linked records, and Interfaces

Create, optimize, and troubleshoot Zapier automations (multi-step Zaps, paths, filters, webhooks)

Integrate systems across tools such as Airtable, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Calendly, etc.

Improve data cleanliness, duplication logic, and workflow efficiency

Implement automation logic for operational processes (dealflow tracking, event RSVPs, founder programs, partner coordination)

Identify system gaps and propose solutions to improve internal workflows

 

Specific Skills We’re Looking For

Airtable: database design, linked record structures, formulas, automations, Airtable Interfaces

Zapier: multi-step workflows, filters/paths, formatting, webhooks, error handling

Strong analytical + problem-solving ability (can translate business needs into clean systems)

High attention to detail (data accuracy + automation reliability)

Strong communication + responsiveness in a fast-paced environment

 

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years experience with Airtable and/or Zapier in a professional setting

Proven ability to build and manage automation workflows end-to-end

Ability to work independently and execute quickly with minimal guidance

Strong organizational skills and reliability
