Operations Coordinator
We’re looking for a full-time Operations Coordinator to help keep our shop organized, stocked, and running smoothly. If you like being around and learning about boats, are motivated and hands-on, and you’re good with computers and learning systems, then you’ll be a great fit.
We are looking for someone who is:
• Local to Fort Pierce, FL
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Good with computers, internet tools, and learning new systems quickly
• Interested in manufacturing, process improvement, and making things more efficient
• A self-described problem solver who enjoys coming up with creative ways to improve processes
• Someone who likes hands-on work in a shop environment (no slacks or button-ups required here)
• Interested in boating, fishing, or the marine industry
• Someone who takes ownership and pride in keeping things running smoothly
Tasks to expect:
• Handle all aspects of ordering, receiving, and organizing the boat parts for our builds (don’t worry, we will train you)
• Maintain paperwork for each boat build and prepare the documents for the boat deliveries
• Manage online merchandise orders, spare parts sales, shipping, and other logistics
• Maintain customer lists and internal records
• Help with internal systems (being familiar with Excel is a plus), online tools (we have a few different apps we use here), and process tracking (usually in the form of a weekly meeting)
• Assist with identifying and improving shop workflows and organization
• Complete simple weekly safety and supply checks
Minimum Requirements:
This is an entry-level position, so no specific Marine Industry experience is required!
