2026 Weekend Seasonal Parks Technician 

The City of Powell is gearing up for another exciting and active season in 2026, and we are looking for a motivated individual to join our Parks team as a weekend Seasonal Parks Technician. This position offers a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes to support the spaces and places that make Powell such a vibrant community.

Hours

• Wednesday through Sunday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm (flexible on the weekday schedule worked)

Dates

• Flexible start and end dates, approximately May 2026 through August 2026.

Starting Salary

• $18.00/hour for weekend schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, watering, and clearing debris.
• Maintain athletic fields, ball diamonds, bike paths, and park facilities.
• Operate hand tools and light motorized vehicles for maintenance tasks.
• Pick up litter, empty trash, and maintain dog-waste stations in parks.
• Clean and stock restrooms in City parks and buildings.
• Provide support for community special events.
