Frontend Engineer (AI / LLM Product) React Required
Frontend Engineer (AI / LLM Product)
Feb–May 2026 · Zero Bureaucracy · Extreme Ownership · Real AI in Production
Build the interface to AI that navigates bio-tech regulation — fast, clean, and decisive. We’re a lean, high-velocity team building an LLM-powered bio-tech regulatory platform that transforms complex regulatory workflows into clear, usable AI systems. This product turns dense, high-stakes regulatory knowledge into tools professionals actually rely on.
This is not research. This is not internal tooling. This is production software where accuracy, clarity, and speed matter.
We’re hiring a frontend engineer who ships fast, thinks independently, and thrives in ambiguity.
This is not a maintenance role. This is build-from-zero → ship-to-production → iterate relentlessly.
Duration: February–May 2026
Compensation: Based on impact, commitment, and skill
Schedule: Fully remote · Fully flexible · No time tracking. Output matters. Hours don’t.
Mentorship: Direct access to a senior CTO (30+ years experience)
Future: Strong potential for extension or full-time role in Q3 2026
The Mission
You will own the frontend of an AI-native product where humans interact directly with LLM systems handling complex regulatory logic.
Your work determines how powerful AI feels when the stakes are real:
clarity, trust, speed, and usability.
You will:
- Build production-grade interfaces using React (critical), Next.js, and TypeScript
- Design fast, responsive, high-performance UI at startup speed
- Integrate with backend services built in Node.js
- Work hands-on with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Collaborate directly with the CTO — rapid feedback, high trust, zero bureaucracy
- Ship clean, maintainable code under real deadlines
- Operate at ~80% frontend / 20% full stack
- Success is measured by what ships — not by meetings or online presence.
Who Thrives Here
- You act fast, adapt faster, and don’t wait for permission.
You bring:
- Strong, hands-on React experience (non-negotiable)
- Solid command of Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling
- Comfort making high-quality technical decisions in ambiguous environments
- A self-starter mindset with high internal drive
- Strong instincts for performance, UX, and code quality
- Startup mentality: bias toward action over discussion
- The ability to learn new systems extremely fast.
- Formal credentials matters, but execution decides.
Education
- BS in Computer Science required
- Currently pursuing an MSc in Computer Science
- Second-year MS students strongly preferred
Bonus Signal (Nice to Have)
- Experience with LLMs or AI-powered products
- Exposure to regulated domains (bio-tech, legal, compliance, finance)
- Startup, hackathon, or open-source background
- Independent projects with full ownership end-to-end
- Demonstrated rapid learning in unfamiliar technical stacks
