Assistant Enrichment Instructor - Position Overview

The Assistant Instructor supports the Lead Instructor in delivering engaging STEM lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment. This role is ideal for college students, aspiring educators, or individuals who enjoy working with children and supporting hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students during LEGO builds and STEM activities
  • Assist with classroom management and student engagement
  • Help with setup and cleanup of materials and classroom space
  • Provide individual student support as needed
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and fun learning environment
  • Follow direction from the Lead Instructor and support lesson flow

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation to Lexington-area sites
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Organized, dependable, and team-oriented

Compensation & Growth

  • $30–$35/hour blended rate
  • Performance and end-of-cycle bonuses
  • Opportunity to grow into Lead Instructor role
  • Priority access to additional sessions as sites expand
