Warhawk Alley Assistant - Summer and/or Fall 2026 - Work Study or Regular Pay

Position Summary     

The UC Warhawk Alley Assistant ensures a positive customer experience by providing excellent service, maintaining entertainment equipment, and troubleshooting issues that arise. Responsibilities include greeting guests, ensuring proper safety, and using problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address equipment concerns and customer needs efficiently and professionally.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Work a minimum of two shifts per week. 
  • Be available to work weekends, rotating with other staff members.

Tasks 

All UC Employees:

  1. Uphold UC’s service pillars of experience, courtesy, inclusion, efficiency, and safety.
  2. Follow UC Student Employee Guidelines
  3. Participate and complete onboarding, UC-wide Orientation, and training.

Position Specific:

  • Handles customer service responsibilities, including working with bowling teams, classes, and reservations to meet customer needs
  • Operates and troubleshoots lane machines and scoring systems to ensure proper functionality for bowling operations.
  • Performs cleaning and maintenance duties to keep Warhawk Alley clean, safe, and in good working condition.
  • Completes shift reports and documentation, using tools like the Google Dashboard, Shift Log, Lane Issues Report, and Reservations Calendar.
  • Manages cash handling duties, including cash report reconciliations and credit card machine balancing.
  • Assists in hosting and promoting events, such as daily specials, tournaments, and partner programming with other UC departments.

Additional Requirement(s) (Meetings/Training/Event Staffing)

  1. Operates and troubleshoots lane machines and scoring systems to ensure proper functionality for bowling operations.
  2. Has the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and climb on machines to fix lane issues
