Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to support our infrastructure, deployment, and operational workflows. You will work closely with senior DevOps and engineering teams to automate processes, improve system reliability, and maintain cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, maintaining, and monitoring CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support cloud infrastructure setup and management (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Help automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Assist with deployments, releases, and rollback strategies.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes.
  • Support security best practices, backups, and system documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience or academic/project exposure to DevOps, cloud, or system administration.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Exposure to containers (Docker) and orchestration concepts is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn DevOps practices.
