The Role
We're currently looking for DAT Tutors passionate about working with students to help them through their test prep journey. As one of Inspira Education’s DAT Tutors, you will support our Advantage brand, and your role will be dedicated to helping students excel in all sections of the Dental Admission Test (DAT). Your mission is to work one-on-one with students to identify their weaknesses, build their confidence, and enhance their test-taking abilities. You will collaborate with students to develop personalized study plans, provide targeted instruction, and offer ongoing support to ensure their success on the DAT exam. This role is integral to our organization's commitment to providing top-notch academic support and helping students achieve their academic goals. This role can be located anywhere in the United States or Canada.
Responsibilities
- Tutor students one-on-one on all sections of the DAT
- Tailor a DAT curriculum to students’ needs
- Track and analyze student progress
- Create and maintain project trackers to monitor student progress
- Keep students’ families up to date on progress
- Be passionate about education and an expert thought leader for your students
Qualifications
- Have a 4-year college degree (Bachelor’s Degree or higher is required)
- Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Have previously taken the DAT (copy of official score report will be required)
- 1-2 years of previous teaching or tutoring experience desired
- Able to provide DAT Test preparation for the full exam, each section
- Superior attention to detail and a high ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable teaching/coaching in a fully remote environment
- A baseline AA score of 26+
