Early On Child Development Educator/Home Visitor

At Branch ISD Early Education, we're seeking a positive, highly motivated individual eager to make a meaningful difference at the very start of a child's learning journey.  This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position that includes paid time off and paid holidays.

Wage range varies based on education and experience $18.58 - 26.39.  

Position Description:

Supporting Early On eligible children with established conditions or delays within the context of the family, supporting the goals of the IFSPs in the child's natural environment through education and coaching.  This position supports children's positive social/emotional skills, acquisition and use of knowledge/skills and the use of appropriate behaviors to meet their needs as well as helping families know their rights in the Part C of IDEA world, effectively communicating their child's needs, and helping their child to develop and learn to their fullest potential.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in areas of Nursing, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field.
  2. 2-year minimum experience working with children and families.
  3. Trained in Parents as Teachers (PAT), Infant-Toddler Developmental Assessment (IDA) preferred; or ability to attend week long training to obtain above certifications.
  4. Have and maintain a valid Michigan driver's license and safe driving record.
  5. Infant Family Specialist Level II with MI-AIMH preferred; or ability to obtain endorsement.
