Clinical Research Manager
Clinical Research Manager at the University of Utah in SLC: Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in biological or health sciences or a related field; 5 peer-reviewed publications, including one lead author publication in the field of eye disease; 12 months research experience involving ocular functional testing and ocular examinations, ocular imaging and image analyses including use of optical coherence tomography (OCT), optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA), and fundus imaging. The experience requirement can be satisfied through employment, training or an academic program. The Clinical Research Manager in the Department of Ophthalmology plays a key role in the day-to-day functions of a major research laboratory conducting research related to the biology, genetics, and treatment of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Will direct and lead research projects in close collaboration with clinicians and researchers; supports processes for the recruitment and assessment of study patients and oversight of critical patient biorepositories; plan, organize, and manage functions related to staffing, research coordination, financial oversight, clinical data standardization, statistical analyses, and the monitoring of clinical trials.
